Be the One Who Says Yes to Help Dan Rockwell
Posted on 23. Dec, 2011 by Shawn Murphy in 1 Leadership
We all face moments in our life when we know we’ve been called upon to help. It can be buying lunch for the homeless women or helping a friend move in the ran on a Saturday.
It’s a split-second decision to help or look the other way. Do you rationalize why you shouldn’t buy the warm meal for the women? Somebody else in less a hurry will help, right?
Perhaps, though, you say yes to your friend who needs help moving. Perhaps you believe that when someone asks you for help you step up and ask, “What can I do for you?”
That’s what I’m hoping you choose to do with this request.
For many of us who write, read or share leadership insights, Dan Rockwell aka @Leadershipfreak is a shining light. Dan was in a serious car accident November 21, 2011. His medical bills have come with a huge expense.
Let’s help Dan pay for those medical expenses. We’re trying to raise $30,000 by January 1; there’s a big hairy audacious goal! To date we’ve raised a little over $2600.
Please donate through Mike Henry Sr.’s Lead Change Group site. Here’s the link.
Be the one who steps up and says yes: Yes I will help. I donated. Will you?
