What Does the Way You Talk Say About You?

What do your words mean to you? Do you know?
Are you aware of the significance your words have on others and yourself? I observe all too often people simply uttering words only to fill the space with their voice. It’s a nervousness caused from a discomfort in having an authentic conversation.
Let me give you some examples.
- “Is it Friday yet?”
- “The weekend wasn’t long enough.”
- “Is it 5 o’clock yet?”
- “Wake me up when it’s Friday.”
I’m not discrediting those times when these words are uttered for good cause.
I point these statements out not to make you wrong for saying them. I point them out because I want you to know how they limit your potential. How they limit you to see the possibility that exists in the present.
There’s no way to explore your potential or see what’s possible when you wish away time.
You have important Work to do in this world. Invite people into your world by talking about what moves you. The conversation is invigorating and uplifting to those involved and those hearing it.
Be purposeful in the words you use.
